This is my first time creating a visual novel, and I’ve chosen to bring my passion for history and storytelling to life using Ren’Py. My project, Senpaiku Shogun, is a historical samurai visual novel set in the chaotic Sengoku period of Japan. It follows the journey of Toramaru, a humble peasant with the ambition to rise above his station and become a legendary samurai. Throughout his adventure, he will experience war, brotherhood, love, and betrayal as he carves his own destiny in a land torn apart by conflict.
This is a labor of love, and I want to share this journey with all of you! As this is my first time working on a project like this, I’ll be learning and improving as I go.
